Art Journaling is a safe and creative way to express yourself.
Art journaling is a way of expressing yourself and stepping away from life for a couple hours. For some people art journaling is a way to turn off their brains, for others it's a way to dig deep into things that are weighing on their minds, and for some, it's a way to tap into their creative side, to unlock hidden feelings.
It's time to make time for yourself while you connect with others in your group, and with yourself. Learn the basics of art journaling in a space where there is no judgment, no criticism, just encouragement, and exploration.
This is an 'anyone can do it' workshop
What does a session look like?
We start off with a writing prompt and suggestions on a style of writing that makes it impossible for anyone to ever read your writing. Next we rip up some paper (very satisfying) and glue it over the writing. Next we add some colour around the background, add a focal image and finish it up with some text.
Supplies
Most of the supplies needed for this workshop can be found at home. Basically you need something to journal on (printer paper is fine), something to journal with (pens, sharpies, pencil crayons), something to collage (magazines, junk mail, old books) and something to collage with (glue, glue stick, tape).
This is a no-rules, can't do it wrong art class where all levels of art experience are welcome.

Details
The fee for a workshop starts at $500. Workshop can be curated to fit your unique group and their needs.

What others are saying
Art Journaling with Anna has changed my life! I love the process involved in creating each page. Transforming thoughts into Art and learning not to judge my work has brought me great joy! I've never been one to write in a journal...but THIS!! This is it for me! I am such a visual person so I get so excited at the idea of "making something".
