What others are saying

As a participant in a number of Anna's art workshops I can say Do Not Miss this opportunity to have a date with your creative self in a fun and supportive environment. Anna is skilled and generous with her ideas. She constantly guides towards listening to your own creative voice, moving through frustration and making 'mistakes' into opportunities. Her respectful, encouraging approach makes it possible to discover and put more of your creative self on the page - and love what is there. Further to the respectful approach - You can share if you want to and there is absolutely no pressure if you don't want to. Art journalling with Anna saved my sanity during the challenges over the last several months!

This was my first-time art journaling. I used to keep a journal when I was in high school (years ago), then my sister found it and read it, which kind of discouraged me from writing down private thoughts going forward. Art journaling is interesting, the message you write is hidden in the artwork, it becomes a code that no one but a "future you" can read. Also, it has a surprising capacity at capturing the moment, sometimes a thought, sometimes your mood or some external event that resonated. It was fun to play with colors and images, no artistic experience was required and I learned new things about art mediums, textures, color combinations. Anna, thank you for sharing your tips and techniques. I also want to thank you and everyone in my group for sharing your works with me.

This small group six week classes give journalers a safe and encouraging environment to really dig into all art journaling has to offer. With step by step instructions, Anna leads journalers through self-exploration and self-expression. With writing prompts, painting suggestions and composition explanations, Journalers learn to use art journaling to discover the creative person hidden inside them.
