Once a week set some time for yourself.
For reflection, for exploration, for respit...for whatever it is that you need.
This will be a writing only group.
Set aside some time for quiet. Let's get our pens moving. If not wanting to be indoors this summer has you setting aside your art journaling class, but you still crave an outlet and connection- this may be the answer.
How it works.
Each week we'll come together, do a quick check in and then I'll introduce a topic. After a few minutes of discussion, I'll offer up a prompt, and we'll write for 20 minutes, and then have a check in. After some more discussion, I'll offer up another prompt, and we do another 20-30 minutes writing, then do a closing check in.
I see this class being organic and evolving. That means if longer or shorter writing times come up and feel right, we'll move in that direction. And as I'm encouraging "In The Garden" journaling, participants may have to turn off their cameras for Wifi purposes and that'll be okay. Also-you don't have to be in the garden. The garden is a metaphor for 'where you want to be.'
Who is this class for?
- anyone who needs a 'time out'
- anyone who wants to build a journaling habit
- those who want to write, but need a framework to get started.
- anyone who likes a good laugh, (and sometimes a good cry)
This is a judgement-free zone. We aren't here to critique anything. Journalers will work on their own and sharing is completely optional.
Session 1: 4 Thursdays-July 8, 15, 22, 29 8-9 pm
Session 2: 4 Thursdays-August 5, 12, 19, 26 7:30-8:30 pm
The cost for the class is $60 for the 4 sessions.
What others are saying
Art Journaling with Anna has changed my life! I love the process involved in creating each page. Transforming thoughts into Art and learning not to judge my work has brought me great joy! I've never been one to write in a journal...but THIS!! This is it for me! I am such a visual person so I get so excited at the idea of "making something".
"I literally can't stop!"
