ABOUT

My name is Anna and I believe everyone is an artist and that includes you. My classes give journalers a safe and encouraging environment. Guided by me, an art journaling session includes writing prompts, painting suggestions, and composition explanations.

What people are saying

I was the wannabe art kid who couldn’t art. Art-anxiety crept in and I just stopped doing paper art all together. My first few sessions with Anna, I wanted to do it “right". I was so nervous because I *knew* there must be a “right”, right?! But session after session Anna made me see that whatever I do at that moment *is* right.

Kristina

I just want to say I loved your Art Journal lessons.  They were so much fun learning all the new techniques to making our journals so personal and unique.  I always loved the playful side of art and was never that good at actually drawing, so being able to do a little bit of it all was so exciting and creative.

Sharon

Making art can feel intimidating and working with Anna feels the opposite of intimidating. I’m not an artist in the traditional sense, though I do consider myself creative because I like to make things and notice and create beauty.
