Handmade Watercolour Paper Journals
These journals are perfect when paired up with our classes. They take the layers of paint, collage, and writing that we pile onto our pages.
You never have to worry about droopy pages
or that your paper might rip if you load too many layers on it.
Made from Fabriano 140-pound watercolour paper
The cold press paper gives the pages enough of a 'tooth' to really grab a hold of your mediums while still being smooth enough for more detailed work and writings. The closed journal is 12 pages and approximately 7.5" X 7.5"
These 12-page handmade journals
are the perfect size whether you want to do a whole spread at 15" x 7.33" or treat each page as its own piece. Sewn up with hemp cord so they lie flat while you're working.
And so satisfying when you get them filled
and feel the stiff, loaded up pages that crunch when you open them. You can say to yourself, "I made this!"
Here's what others have to say about their journals:
The day I filled my first journal was such a thrill for me. Enough pages that I had a real sense of accomplishment, but small enough that even as a beginner art journaler I wasn't overwhelmed or intimidated.
I keep on looking at each of the pages and remembering the insights and what I learnt. Can't wait to start my new one.
I look through my journal pages, and I may not remember what I wrote, but I remember how I felt.
I love how my journal is getting heavier as I work through it-like it's holding the weight of all my feelings
