One on one art journaling sessions
For anyone who wants to do art journaling but isn't up for the social aspect of being in a group setting.
Create, express, heal, discover
If you are looking for a way to sort through the events of the last year, or even just what's happening in your own life, private art journaling sessions are soothing and restorative.
The healing powers of art journaling have saved me more than once.
Over ten years ago my youngest son was struggling in school and we began the journey of uncovering the causes of his challenges. Myself and a group of moms from the schoolyard decided to meet weekly for six weeks to art journal...that group met weekly for ten months. And then again this past December, I found myself in another emotional crisis, and again turned to journaling as a way to sort my feelings and soothe my heart. You can read more about that here.
Writing prompts, paint techniques, and collage...that's just the starting point.
Art journaling is very private. Reveal only as much of yourself as you want, and know that no one will ever read your words if you don't want them too. Embracing the process and the slow discovery of our inner most thoughts and feeling.

What others are saying
Art Journaling with Anna has changed my life! I love the process involved in creating each page. Transforming thoughts into Art and learning not to judge my work has brought me great joy! I've never been one to write in a journal...but THIS!! This is it for me! I am such a visual person so I get so excited at the idea of "making something".
